Randall Cabinets and Design was founded in 1980 by Richard Randall under the name Central Illinois Woodworks by Richard Randall, who still designs for the company today. Richard’s passion for crafting quality cabinetry and heirloom furniture continues to be the foundation of our company today. Whether we are building a small piece of furniture, providing a single cabinet, or remodeling an entire home, we strive for excellence in every aspect of our work.
Richard has been creating original woodworking pieces since he was a youth. A drafting class in junior high jump-started his natural design abilities and vision, allowing him to envision a completed project before the first board was even cut. His early years working on a construction crew building new homes enabled him to deepen his understanding and appreciation of how kitchen, bath, and family room projects relate to the overall structure. This experience ensures that every building and remodeling project runs smoothly, with careful consideration given to all mechanical needs and trades involved in completing the job.
Second Generation Cabinetry Design & Remodeling
Joe Randall, Richard’s son, has spent his entire life in the drafting room, job site, and woodshop. With decades of experience under Richard’s guidance, Joe has brought Randall Cabinets and Design into the 21st century by utilizing photo-realistic 3D renderings to assist in designing cabinets, kitchens, furniture, and whole-home remodels. Joe’s passion for historic homes has led to the renovation of Georgian, Victorian, Craftsman, and Farmhouse styles. Joe takes pride in overseeing every aspect of your project—from design and demolition to management and installation. He firmly believes that it is the designer’s and manager’s responsibility to see a project through from inception to final touch-ups. As the Production and Project Manager at Randall Cabinets and Design, he will ensure your project is completed to your satisfaction from start to finish.

Located just south of Bloomington, Illinois, Randall Cabinets offers the most extensive display of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances in downstate Illinois, along with Cove dishwashers, Zephyr and BEST range hoods, Scotsman ice machines, Fulgor Milano ovens, ranges and refrigerators.

We have the ability to acquire locally harvested or exotic species of lumber to achieve the exact look needed for your project and the skill and experience to replicate and remake vintage wooden trim, handle custom millwork, and create furniture for your unique home remodeling project.
Our Custom Cabinet Design Process
Designers, Joe Randall & Richard Randall complete design work on a one-on-one basis with each customer to create a design that is truly unique to each project. Their lifelong experience in the building and design trade, give them the ability to visualize spaces and make a very creative and functional room.
As the design consultant, Joe will oversee the project and help to coordinate work with other trades in the most orderly manner possible. Using his incredible eye for kitchen design along with a large selection of semi-custom cabinets offered, we can create a beautiful finished kitchen at a moderate price. We proudly sell nothing but 100% American-made cabinets.
